No one has mentioned it since it came out so let me be the first...<drum roll>

Very cool so far! heh, played it for about 6-9 hours...but haven't made it very far cause I keep starting new guys! :P

Storyline is pretty interesting, I actually listen when they speak, voicing and everything is nice. Graphics pretty good on the Comp. Its a typical BioWare feel (thinking of KOTOR when I say this) able to pause in a fight and select spells/targets. The Classes are much more in depth then any BioWare game that i've played so far.

Its got a NWN feel to classes I would say. Start off as the basic Warrior Mage or Rogue. Then there are 3 sub classes in each. Also the Dwarfs, Human, and Elf's have different starts and I assume variations in storyline. Also each race has 2 different starting lines (minus the Mage). Ex: You can choose to be a Dwarf Warrior Noble or a Dwarf Warrior Commoner.

The thing that I don't necessarily like is that you have to unlock sub classes...for instance the Warriors can become a Reaver by doing something evil in a certain step of the Storyline. Then Reaver becomes unlocked permanently. So in theory you can play the storyline once through and unlock ALL subclasses, then play again. But I feel you have to rely on a Walkthrough to unlock them all, as they aren't blatantly obvious.

So far I have started as a Dwarf Warrior, Human Rogue, and Elf Mage. (Dwarf's cannot play Mages). I typically hate playing caster's but find the Mage to be the best so far, plan to finish the game with it. And the Mage Subclasses are very neat. Not your typical D&D Caster.

Also, you may have 2 subclasses. I will be a Arcane Mage/Blood Mage. Basically, as the Arcane Mage, I will use my magic to be a Melee fighter magic strengthening my health/armor/weapon's , while using Blood Mage to sacrifice my health, or party members health to cast devastating AoE damage. Pretty neat combo in my book....Dual Wielding.

All in all I would rate it probably a 4/5. I am not one for the typical D&D RPG games, more of a Sci Fi (KOTOR Mass Effects) player when it comes to that. But this game is very fun. I would suggest getting it for PC though, I cant imagine the controls on a console. being lv 4 already, im using almost 8 different spells. But BioWare does seem to adapt them nicely for console so <shrug> someone let me know if they play it, thinking about buying it for PS3.

Whew....longest post in awhile...Enjoy!
